Pharmacy Requirements

Pharmacy Account & Delivery Requirements

Clear verification. Responsible onboarding. Controlled delivery access.

RapidMed verifies pharmacy accounts before delivery access is activated. The process is designed to confirm pharmacy identity, account authority, service readiness and applicable operational requirements.

How Pharmacy Activation Works

From account creation to controlled delivery access.

Completing account registration does not automatically activate delivery access. RapidMed separately activates operational delivery access after applicable verification and review requirements are complete.

Pharmacy Verification

What RapidMed may verify

RapidMed may review pharmacy name, pharmacy business address, contact information, Ontario College of Pharmacists accreditation information where applicable, and the identity or authority of the account representative.

RapidMed may review information supplied by the pharmacy together with authoritative public information where appropriate. RapidMed does not claim automated real-time OCP integration on this page.

Authorized Representative

Account authority confirmation

The person establishing the account must confirm they are authorized to establish and administer the RapidMed account for the pharmacy.

Examples may include a pharmacy owner, Designated Manager, director or officer, pharmacy manager, authorized administrator, or another appropriately authorized representative. Role titles do not automatically establish legal authority in every circumstance.

Additional Documents

Most pharmacies are not required to upload every possible verification document.

RapidMed may request additional documentation where reasonably necessary. Required additional documents may block activation until resolved. Optional documents should not normally block activation.

Business registration

May be requested for legal entity mismatch, billing entity mismatch, unclear ownership, or manual risk review.

Proof of business address

May be requested when signup details do not align with verified pharmacy or public accreditation details.

Insurance certificate

May be requested for contract-specific, institutional, or higher-risk service requirements.

Ownership or authority

May be requested where signer authority or entity structure cannot be reasonably established.

Additional accreditation information

May be requested when accreditation details need manual review or clarification.

Other relevant document

May be requested when relevant to account verification or the service arrangement.

Business Approval

Account review approval

Business Approval means RapidMed has approved the business/account review.

Delivery Activation

Operational access enabled

Delivery Activation means operational delivery-request access has been enabled. Business approval alone does not automatically activate delivery access.

Delivery Requests

Activation allows requests, not guaranteed acceptance of every request.

An activated account allows the pharmacy to request RapidMed delivery services. Acceptance may depend on coverage area, route timing, capacity, shipment requirements, handling requirements, safety, applicable law or regulation, and agreed service scope.

Delivery Records

Operational events may be recorded.

RapidMed may record pickup confirmation, delivery status, timestamps, applicable signature or photo proof, exception status, return status, and route or audit information. Not every delivery will include every type of proof.

Privacy and Minimum Necessary Information

Operational access should stay tied to authorized work.

RapidMed is designed to limit delivery-related information access to what is reasonably necessary for authorized operations. Driver information may include destination, recipient information necessary for delivery, operational contact information, delivery instructions necessary for completion, identification or signature requirements, and package handling requirements where required.

Failed or Incomplete Delivery

Drivers follow applicable exception and return procedures.

Examples may include recipient unavailable, address issue, required identification unavailable, unsafe delivery condition, package damage, temperature-control concern, or required pharmacy direction. Drivers should not leave packages in unauthorized circumstances.

Temperature-Controlled or Special Handling

Special handling depends on agreed scope and available capabilities.

Some healthcare products may have additional packaging, timing, container, monitoring, or handling requirements. Service acceptance depends on the agreed service scope and RapidMed's available capabilities.

Regulated or Restricted Products

Additional review or restrictions may apply.

Regulated, controlled or otherwise restricted products may be subject to additional legal, operational and service requirements. RapidMed may require additional review, apply enhanced procedures, restrict certain service types, or decline a request where applicable requirements cannot be satisfied.

Keeping Account Information Current

Material changes may require re-verification.

Pharmacies should keep pharmacy address, accreditation status, ownership or material business changes, authorized account contacts, billing contacts, and service requirements current.

Common Questions

Pharmacy account questions, answered clearly.

Verification helps RapidMed understand the account, the pharmacy, and the requested operating scope before delivery access is enabled.

Who can create a RapidMed pharmacy account?

A pharmacy owner, Designated Manager, director or officer, pharmacy manager, authorized administrator, or another appropriately authorized representative may establish an account where they have authority to do so.

Does creating an account automatically activate deliveries?

No. Registration, verification, business approval, and delivery activation are separate steps. RapidMed activates operational delivery-request access only after applicable requirements are complete.

Are additional documents always required?

No. Most pharmacies are not required to upload every possible document. RapidMed may request specific evidence when additional verification is reasonably necessary.

Does RapidMed accept every delivery request?

No. Requests remain subject to coverage area, timing, capacity, shipment and handling requirements, safety, applicable law or regulation, and agreed service scope.
